GENERAL INFORMATION
  • In Israel, courses for the GRE® test are offered by Yeda Plus in Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem. Private tutoring for the GRE exam is also available in Tel Aviv and Jeresalem The Tel Aviv the GRE course is given in the Azrieli Center vicinity (Menachem Begin 114). In Jerusalem the GRE course is given in the German Colony neighborhood (Masaryk 10). Yeda Plus GRE course class size is maximum 10 students. In Israel,the GRE exam is given in Tel-Aviv on a daily basis. Registration for the GRE exam in Israel is done at www.gre.org. To register for the GRE computer based exam in Israel you can also call the Thompson/Prometric European headquarters in the Netherlands at +31-320-23-9540. The Netherlands is the regional headquarters for the GRE exam registration. It is also possible to register online for the GRE test at www.gre.org with payment by credit card The cost of the GRE General test is $190 (Effective January 1st, 2010) Yeda Plus offers counseling for graduate school selection and writing of the Personal Statement. Feel free to visit our Tel Aviv offices for access to our collection of graduate school information guides. offers either an 18-meeting GRE test course, meeting twice a week (evenings) or a 12-meeting course on Friday mornings. Yeda Plus is offering in Israel the Psychology GRE subject test course in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The Yeda Plus Psychology GRE Subject test is a 60 hour course offered twice weekly. The GRE Psychology subject test course will start in Mid-August and is taught by American educated University instructors The GRE Psychology subject test course will consist of a review of American undergraduate Psychology curriculum together with practice tests.

    • TEST DESCRIPTION
    The GRE exam consists of 3 parts: Section I Analytical Writing 1 Issue Task (45 minutes) Analytical Writing 1 Argument Task (30 minutes) Section II Verbal 30 questions (30 minutes) Section III Quantitative 28 questions (45 minutes) Students are not allowed to use calculators of any kind .

    SCORES INFORMATION
    The GRE test score is a combination of three parts: A verbal score, an analytical essay writing score and a quantitative score. The verbal and quantitative can range from 200 to 800 points, for a total score of from 400 to 1600 points. The analytical writing section is out of a score of 6.
