Friday classes are 13 sessions, meeting from 9:00 to 14:00 in the Tel Aviv classrooms. Courses held on Sunday to Thursday are evening classes and are 20 sessions meeting from 18:00 to 21:50 at our Tel Aviv locations. In Jerusalem the class meetings will take place from 17:00 to 21:00

GENERAL INFORMATION
  • The Yeda Plus SAT® preparation course in Israel is given in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
  • The Yeda Plus SAT Course in Jerusalem is held in the evenings in the German Colony. The Yeda Plus SAT test Course in Tel Aviv is held in the evenings and Friday mornings in the Azrieli Center vicinity.
  • SAT test class size is limited to 10 students.
  • Besides our in-house Yeda Plus developed materials and methods, Yeda Plus students practice with actual SAT tests.
  • The SAT in Israel can be taken both in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
  • Register online for the SAT in Israel at www.collegeboard.com. (Please note that you must imput an Israeli address if you want the computer to register you for the SAT in Israel).
  • Yeda Plus students will also receive assistance if needed in registering online for the SAT.
  • SAT Registration Deadlines
  • For the March 14th, 2010 SAT you must register by February 4th, 2010
  • For the May 2nd, 2010 SAT you must register by March 25th, 2010
  • For the June 6th, 2010 SAT you must register by April 29th, 2010
  • Students with cognitive learning disabilities (e.g. ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Discalcula) that are interested in applying for testing accomodations can also obtain the appropriate forms and assistance from our Tel Aviv location.
  • Yeda Plus also offers SAT Courses for the SAT II subject tests (in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem) in small goups or one-on-one instruction.
  • Yeda Plus has highly qualified SAT II test tutors in Mathematics SAT II test, English Literature SAT II and American History SAT II
  • offers a 20-lesson SAT test course, twice weekly or a 15 session SAT test course offered on Fridays. In addition, as many tutorials will be held as are needed by the students.
  • The SAT test is administered in Israel on Sundays.
  • The SAT test may be taken both in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. In Tel Aviv the SAT exam is given at the ZOA house. In Jerusalem the SAT exam may be taken at the Anglican International School.
  • The new SAT test requires the writing of an essay, a new grammar section and the mathematics section will cover both Algebra I and Algebra II topics.
  • The new SAT test score has three parts: a verbal score a quantitative score and an essay score, each of which can range from 200 to 800 points, for a total of from 600 to 2400 points.
  • The New SAT® test will be 3 hours and 45 minutes long.
  • The upcoming SAT test dates for 2010 are March 14th, May 2nd, and June 6th. In Israel the SAT is administered on a Sunday.
  • Please note that you may not take the SAT II exams on the same test day as you take the SAT!

  • TEST DESCRIPTION
    The New SAT® exam requires knowledge of Mathematics and advanced English verbal skills.
    The Mathematics section includes: Numbers and operations; algebra and functions; geometry; statistics, probability, and data analysis. Calculators are permitted! Students can use a four-function, scientific, or graphing calculator. The new SAT verbal section tests you on reading comprehension, grammar and sentence completion questions. The New SAT test will also include the writing of an essay. Yeda Plus has highly qualified instructors to teach the essay writing and grammar portions of the test. Yeda Plus has experience both with Israelis that have learned English in Israeli High Schools and with native English speakers.
