The Tuesday TOEFL class in Tel Aviv is ten sessions from 15:00-18:00. Friday TOEFL class in Tel Aviv is ten sessions from 8:00-11:00. The Jerusalem TOEFL classes are fifteen sessions from 19:30-21:30 at Agron 6 in the Guest House. The TOEFL Workshop is a mini course recommended for confident English speakers. It is a total of six hours and meets twice from 19:00-22:00.

  • Courses for the TOEFL® iBT (internet Based Test) and the TOEFL PBT (Paper Based Test) in Israel are available through Yeda Plus in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Yeda Plus TOEFL iBT class size is generally less than 10 students and not more than 12 students! Personal attention counts!. In Jerusalem the Yeda Plus TOEFL iBT test courses are given in the German Colony (Masaryk 10). Yeda Plus starts new TOEFL iBT test courses approximately every month. Yeda Plus offers either a 10-meeting course on Tuesday afternoons in Tel Aviv,a 10 meeting TOEFL iBT course in Jerusalem on Mondays 17"00 to 20:00 or a 10-meeting TOEFL course once a week (Friday) 8:00 am - 11:00 am in Tel Aviv. Each TOEFL course meeting is three hours long, plus an additional two hours is given during the course for practice in speaking English.

  • TEST DESCRIPTION
    TEST DESCRIPTION The TOEFL test consists of 4 sections: 1) Reading Comprehension - you are required to understand a written text and to answer questions about the content and structure. 2) Listening Comprehension - you are required to understand and remember an audio segment. You may take notes during the listening. 3) Speaking - A short 20-minute segment where you are tested on your speaking abilities via the internet. 4) Essay - there are two different essay assignments, both of which are done on the computer. The test takes approximately 4 hours to complete. TEST INFORMATION: The TOEFL exam is available in Israel as an Internet Based Test (iBT) and in the Paper Based Test format (PBT). It is also possible to take the TOEFL iBT in Jerusalem at the Hebrew University Givat Ram campus, new TOEFL test facilities are being prepared in Tel Aviv vicinity such as the Ironi Dalet High School and in Herzliya. TOEFL testing centers are also planned for other locations in Israel. You may register for the TOEFL test in Israel online at www.toefl.org. Another option is to call the TOEFL test center in Holland at +31-320-23-9540. The cost of the TOEFL iBT test is $150. You may register to take the TOEFL iBT test up to one week before the test date. The TOEFL iBT test results are available approximately two weeks after the test is taken. The TOEFL test scores are emailed to the test taker and to the Universities the test taker chooses (first 4 Universities chosen to receive TOEFL test scores are free). In Israel it is also possible to take the Paper Based TOEFL test (PBT) at the Anglican School in West Jerusalem. The Paper Based TOEFL exam does NOT contain a speaking portion, and some universities may require TOEFL test takers to also submit scores for the Test of Spoken English (TSE). Yeda Plus provides for TOEFL paper based instruction in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
